I don’t know about you, but when it’s cold outside, I like to read books set in the cold—not only because it fits the hibernation mode I exist in during that season, but because it’s much easier to feel those descriptors when I’m cold myself. Can I feel my fingers right now? Not so much. But neither can these characters, probably.
