You don’t have to look far to find a great crime story. With everyone stuck indoors, the popularity of streaming sites have sky rocked and with that the emergence of exciting new thrillers, mysteries, and true crime television and movies. To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we lined up some of the most plot-twisty and intrigue-packed series and movies we’re watching right now featuring Latin/Hispanic casts and creators. From international heists to a dystopian future wrapped in horror, these crime stories will have you at the edge of your seat.

CRIMINAL: SPAIN (2019-)

Part of a Netflix series that spans countries and continents, CRIMINAL: SPAIN takes the camera into the interrogation room in this high-tension mini series. The detectives here have one goal—to prove the innocence or guilt of the person in the hot seat. Don’t point the finger too quickly. You’ll be surprised at what these detectives uncover. For people who love their plots riddled with mystery with a tinge of romance, THE MIRAGE is the movie for you. This thriller takes the best of the drama and science fiction genres to create a horror-filled saga involving a missing child, a woman murdered, and only 72 hours to discover the truth. THE PLATFORM (2019)

Mindblowing and more than a little unsettling, THE PLATFORM takes place in a futuristic society where prisoners live in tower-like cells with limited food and safety. Their one chance at staying alive is eating off a platform that descends each day, stopping for a short time on every floor and leaving inmates scrabbling to eat. Those at the top live luxuriously. For all our heist lovers out there (we see you), MONEY HESIT is the perfect weekend binge. Bringing together a cacophony of intriguing protagonists, this adventurous series explores all things morally ambiguous and money-driven. Another one not to be missed.
